Robert Louis "Bobby" Robertson, 90, passed away January 21, 2023, at his home following a valiant battle with Dementia/Alzheimer's Disease.
A native of Fountain Inn, son of the late James Chesley and Lily Ann Calloway Robertson, he was retired from United Insurance of America and was a member of Covenant United Methodist Church in Greer, SC.
Bobby loved the Lord and his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Evelyn Garrett Robertson; three daughters, Robbie Robertson of Greer, Janice Robertson Conner (Al) of Chapin, and Judy Robertson McGregor (Michael) of Greer; nine grandchildren, Jill Davidson of Fountain Inn, Kimberly Rawley (Craig) of Simpsonville, Thomas Leonard of Lyman, Erin Schoolmeester (Rob) of Irmo, Christen Chay (John) of Chapin, Bailey Adams Locklair of Lyman, Megan Adams of Greer, Eric Spann (Lorie) of Charleston, and Nicole Whitener (Kevin) of Easley; and twelve great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his sister, Jenny Robertson Baxter, and three brothers, Grady Robertson, Wilton Robertson, and Herman Robertson.
Bobby was loved and respected by many, and he will be missed by all that knew him.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 26, 2023, at Covenant United Methodist Church conducted by Reverend Darren Hook. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park, Duncan, SC.
Visitation will be held 10:00-10:45 a.m. Thursday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Covenant United Methodist Church, 1310 Old Spartanburg Rd., Greer, SC 29650, or The Sonshine Club, www.sonshineclub.org or mail checks to 5969 Highway 221, Roebuck SC 29376.
