Mr. Rodman was one of the finest teachers I´ve ever had. No shortage of homework, but the study skills he nurtured helped in college. More importantly, he was one of the finest human beings I´ve known. I went on a few of his Blackjack ski trips. So much fun and it was easy to recognize how much he enjoyed skiing but also getting to know the student as a person.
I´ll always remember Mr. Rodman with great fondness. My sincere condolences to the Rodman family. A life well lived!

I didn´t know Bob very long, but what I do know is he was passionate for so many things and so many people he loved to share his story about his life`s adventures and his accomplishments. I loved hearing about them. He lived a full life and I´m grateful that I got to meet him And also get to know his family and his grandchildren. He had a sense of humor that would light up the room. I was one of his caretakers at Park View. I often walked past his room that now has a different name, but I still think of that room is your room our treasure the Money evenings, eating popcorn, and talking and laughing. I did not get a chance to say goodbye but I know that you are with your wife and if your family is reading this, I wanna shout out a big thank you to your family and his students that were there towards his stay at Park View. You guys are very passionate and I just wanted to say thank you to his students for making him smile and I wanted to give a big thank you to his son Mike, who was making memories that will last a lifetime. I did not get to know his other son Scott as well as Mike, but I´m sure you had made lots of memories with him as well so as I´m eating some popcorn I thought of your dad and I just wanted to tell him thank you and for him to Make a sign let me know that he´s all right which I´m sure he is until let his family know that I wanted to thank them as well not too many people spend as much time with their family. His his family did with him, so I´m sorry for your dad`s passing your teacher`s passing Your friends passing your neighbor, etc. etc.

Mr. Rodman was a great man and a great teacher. In 9th grade he introduced me to social issues that I had never considered before, and that new awareness shaped how I lived my life. I am forever grateful for what I learned from him.

There are a handful of teachers you remember throughout your school career and Mr. Rodman was one that had a huge impact. I enjoyed the Washington DC trip, ski trips, Wisconsin River canoe trip through Spring green, and the Porcupine mountain excursion. He was a great adventurer and i was proud to be a present and enjoy all of it.

My condolences to the Mr. Rodman family. He was a 7th grade teacher I had at Perry Tipler whom I always had total respect. A great teacher who knew how to encourage and inspire his students.
God's peace.
