Robert George Rosenblatt, Jr.

Robert George Rosenblatt, Jr. passed away surrounded by family on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at the age of 78. Born in Evansville, Indiana on July 17, 1947, he was the son of the late Robert George Rosenblatt, Sr. and Elizabeth Haury Rosenblatt.

After completion of Army service in Vietnam, Robert earned a B.S. degree at Indiana State University. He was employed in the office furniture manufacturing industry for many years. He belonged to the Knights of Columbus and Serra Club and was an Oblate of St. Benedict.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters Anne Gehring and Mary Heim and by his brother-in-law G. Grant Gehring.

Robert is survived by his wife of 52 years, Suzanne Gorham Rosenblatt, his children Robert James Rosenblatt and Katherine Elizabeth (Matthew) Harl, and grandchildren Parker, Isabella "Bella", and Robert "Bobby" Rosenblatt. He is also survived by sisters Catherine (Alan) Bragin and Jean (Charles) Walk, brother-in-law Donald Heim, and their families. His greatest loves were his family...and ISU basketball.

A funeral mass will be held on Friday, October 24, at 1:00 p.m. (CDT) at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church 1729 Stop Thirty Road, Hendersonville, Tennessee. Visitation will be at the church from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
