Robert Ross Obituary

Mr. Ross, born in Millstone, West Virginia, graduated from Spencer High School in Spencer. From 1958 - 1961 he served in the United States Army. A life-long mechanic, he was employed for the majority of his working career with Roy Hildreth and Son in Spencer, West Va., an oil producing, drilling, and exploration entity. He was the son of the late Loy Charles Ross and Ina Mae Shaffer Ross.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Oliver Ross, of the home; three sons, Charles Ross of Goldsboro, Robert Ross, Jr. of Mount Olive, and Michael Ross of Phoenix City, Alabama; several grandchildren; and a sister, Linda Siers of Charleston, West Va.
In keeping with Mr. Ross's wishes for cremation, his family will be privately remembering their loved one.
Anyone wishing to honor his memory with a memorial gift, the family suggests St. Jude Hospital for Crippled Children, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105.
