Robert Frank "Robbie" Rozar

1953 – 2023
In the early morning of July 20, 2023, the clouds separated, and the angels ushered Robert "Robbie" Frank Rozar into heaven's gates.
Robbie was preceded in death by his father, William A. Rozar, Sr.; mother, Sarah Atwood Rozar; brother, Danny Eugene Rozar; sister-in-law, Rose Marie Rozar; nephew, Charles Brannon Forrest and his very dear canine companion, Barney, who is by his side on a long walk now.
He is survived by his loving wife, Cynthia "Cindy" Cason Rozar; daughter, Kimberly Howell (Greg); brother, William A. Rozar, Jr.; sister, Julie Forrest; brother-in-law Scott Cason; granddaughter, Kaelyn Woods (Dustin); grandson, Joshua L. Morrison; great-grandchildren, Jayden Lee, Allison Grace, and Jordon Leo Morrison and many loving nieces, nephews and extended family including his lifelong friends, Terry Lawson, Gary Giles, Larry Williams, and Roy Pierce.
Robbie was born on November 11, 1953, to William and Sarah Rozar in Mobile, Alabama. In 1971, he graduated from Theodore High School. He was 34 when he married the love of his life, Cindy Cason. Robbie went onto open his own contracting business in Mobile, AL. Later he pursued a life in real estate as a mortgage broker in Norcross, Georgia, where he had called home for over the last 18 years. Robbie and Cindy made many trips home to Alabama over the years to visit friends and family. Some visits were about sorrows, such as the passing of his brother, his mother, and the passing of Cindy's parents. However, many trips were for celebrations, like his daughter's wedding, family birthdays, and holiday gatherings for Thanksgivings and Christmas. Robbie only retired a few years ago and had many plans to spend his retirement years enjoying time with Cindy and his family.
Robbie loved college football, with his favorite team being the Georgia Bulldogs. He also loved a good cocktail and a movie, giving good advice, and collecting Beatles memorabilia. His inquisitiveness and keen intellect drove all his pursuits and successes. Robbie was a principled man of integrity. He had many lifelong friends, and he was immensely proud of his family. Robbie simply loved to enjoy the life he and Cindy built for themselves.
Robbie wished to be cremated so he could spend his eternity among the sailing seas at Seagrove Beach with the love of his life. Robbie's Facebook page will remain active; all are welcome to post memories and final words there. A special thank you to the staff of Duluth Hospital for their love, care, and support over the last month that he spent in ICU. The family would also like to extend their sincerest gratitude towards Georgia Cremation in Duluth for being very accommodating and understanding during this difficult time.
