Robert Clifton Rucker

Robert Clifton Rucker, age 87, of Ruby Lane in Irvine, passed away Monday, January 12, 2026, at his home. He was born March 22, 1938, in Estill County and was the son of the late Everett "Buck" Rucker and Helen Neal Long. He retired as an Electrician, and he was a member of the South Irvine Christian Church. He had lived in Estill County for most of his life. He is survived by:
2 daughters: Kelli (Tom) Wright - Madison Co.
Kim Rucker - Estill Co.
2 brothers: Edmond Long - Estill Co.
Mike Long - Estill Co.
5 grandchildren: Logan Russell, Alyssa (Chad) Hall, Chesney (Josh) Bingham, Dasha Rucker, and Gracie Rucker
4 great grandchildren: Aleya, Hunter, Aniston, and Miley Jo
Son-in-law: Bobby Dawes

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wives, Margie Lainhart Rucker and Donna Kelley Troxler, 1 son, Robert Jason Rucker, 1 sister, Peggy Long, 3 brothers, Glenn Long, Billy Ray Rucker, and Everett "Sonny" Rucker, and his stepdad, Shirley Long.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, January 16, 1 PM at the Warren F. Toler Funeral Home with Bro. Tyler Sewell officiating. Burial will be at the Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Friday from 11 AM to 1 PM.
