Bob, I am so shock and saddened to hear that you left us. Me and my listeners thank you so much for all the years you have filled in for the Polka Party and doing your own comedy show on WUNH FM. We all are going to miss you, your sense of humor and your larger than life personality. Look forward to seeing you on the other side Bob and love you always.

I remember riding in the MGB with Bob up to the Androscoggin River and back. He took me fishing and surprised me by taking me to see King Kong vs. Godzilla at the Scenic in Rochester. Also took me to a Sportsman dinner at the Knights of Columbus. Will never forget all the good times at his house growing up with him and David. RIP!

Rachel, Angela, Debbie, Meredith and Ben, sorry to hear of your fathers passing. I know you all have great memories of your dad. He was a nice guy and fun to be around. May God bless you all during your time of grief. We will be praying for you.

Dear Rachel, Deb, Meredith, Angela and Ben, So sorry to hear of Bob"s passing. He was a character and a half. Always had a joke or story to tell and he told it well. Now he can fill Ruthie in on all you kids and spend time with his mom which he missed so much. Always know you are in my thoughts and prayers and only a phone call away if you need anything. The Williams and Jessurun families, previously of Chesley Drive in Barrington, extend our deepest sympathy to the Ruel family. I remember Bob as a commanding presence who was full of life, as was his home. He raised wonderful children who are a living legacy of his life.
