Robert Rutman Obituary

Born January 12, 1943 in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Harry and Lenore (Weinstein) Rutman.
Mr. Rutman was employed in sales throughout his career, retiring in 2008. Earlier in life, he was an avid tennis and baseball player. He will also be remembered as an amateur meteorologist.
Survivors include his sons, Seth Rutman of Horsham, Neal Rutman (Wendi) of Lafayette Hill, Brett Rutman of Wernersville, and Ross Rutman (Samantha) of Seattle, WA; two grandchildren, Jordyn and Jared; two sisters, Jane Kaye (Mel) of Cherry Hill, and Jackie Cohen (Tony) of Fort Washington; many nieces and nephews; and his former wife, Audrey Philip of Lower Gwynedd.
The family will receive friends beginning 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at Congregation Or Ami, 708 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, where a shiva service will be observed at 7:30 p.m. Interment will be private.
Arrangements are by the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in Mr. Rutman's memory to the Horsham Center for Jewish Life, 1425 Horsham Road, North Wales, PA 19454.
