Robert Gerard Sackett Jr.

Robert Gerard Sackett, Jr., died suddenly but peacefully at his home on November 20, 2022.
Bob was born in Bronxville, New York on October 30, 1961. He was the Loving Son of the late Robert and Letitia Sackett. He is survived by his wife, Nancy and children, Christopher and Emily, who were the Light of his Life! He is also survived by his Brother, Andrew (Debbie), Sister, Marianne (Bob) Vlad, and Brother, Michael (Tricia). Known as "U.B."(Uncle Bob), he had eight Loving Nieces and Nephews, Bobby, Christie, Lynda, Nicholas, Andrew, Lauren, Tyler, Madison, and 5 Grand Nieces and Nephews, Belle, Jace, Donnie, Liv, and May.
Bob was part of a large extended Family having 26 Aunts and Uncles. He was 1 of 55 1st Cousins.
Bob worked for 42 years as a Telecommunications Engineer, managing Data Networks for numerous Companies and Hospitals. Bob loved the Outdoors. He loved Swimming, Diving and most of all Fishing in Freshwater Lakes, Shinnecock Bay, and the Atlantic Ocean in Montauk.
What Bob loved the most was spending time with Family and his many Friends. His Greatest Gift was that he brought laughter everywhere he went. When Bob was around everybody had Fun!!! He was Kind, Good Natured, a Gentle Spirit, and a Wonderful Guy. He was everyone's Best Friend! He will be Deeply missed by all that have known and met him and will never be forgotten!

The family will be present on Sunday, November 27, 2022 from 2-7 PM at Ruggiero & Sons, Inc., Funeral Home & Cremation Services- 732 Yonkers Avenue- Yonkers, New York 10704. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 28, 2022 - 10:30 AM at Saint John the Baptist Church, 670 Yonkers Avenue- Yonkers, New York 10704. Cremation will take place privately.
