Robert Dean Sangalli, age 80, of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2025.
Born in Houston, Texas, on September 15, 1944, Robert was the son of the late Lewis J. Sangalli and Ella Sangalli. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, where he was awarded numerous honors for his courage and service, including the Bronze Star with Valor, Purple Heart, Air Medal, Army Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, and Combat Infantry Badge.
On September 1, 1973, Robert married the love of his life, Ramona Ennis Sangalli. Together, they shared more than 50 years of marriage, building a life rooted in love, strength, and devotion. He is survived by his wife Ramona and their daughter, Kristin Appler, who brought him immense pride and joy.
Robert was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Owen, and his brother, Paul Sangalli. He is also survived by his brother, James Sangalli.
He will be remembered for his bravery, quiet strength, and steadfast love for his family and country.
A private service will be held for close family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a veterans’ organization of your choice.
