Robert P. Sannasardo

Robert P. Sannasardo passed away on January 5, 2026, at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. He was 77. Robert was born in New York City on October 13, 1948 to the late Salvatore and Shirley (Naiztat) Sannasardo. On November 17, 1973, he married his beloved wife Roseann (Spolidoro) Sannasardo.

Robert was Head Custodian at Wappingers Central School District for many years. He was a family man who loved spending time with his loved ones, especially his cherished grandchildren. He could always be found cheering on his favorite sports teams: the Yankees, the Rangers, and the Jets.

Surviving are his wife Roseann Sannasardo; his children: Nicole Smaldone and her husband John, and Robert Sannasardo and his wife Allison; his grandchildren: Madison, John and Vincent Smaldone; Ryan and Dylan Sannasardo; his sister Donna Servedio and her husband Joe; his sister-in-law Roxann Illardi and her husband Joe, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2026, from 4-7 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 9 at 10 am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction, NY, followed by burial at St. Denis Cemetery.
