Whitinsville- Robert F. Schulze, of Chestnut St., passed away Thursday, November 27, 2025, in Milford Regional Medical Center after an illness.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Mae A. (Massey) Schulze; his son David S. Schulze and his wife Elizabeth of Monument, CO; 3 granddaughters, Jacklyn Schulze of South Hadley, Jessica Legare, and Alexis Schulze of Granby, MA ; 3 great-grandchildren, Michael Gilmore of Foxboro, Braedyn Thomas of Greenfield, and Ava Judge of Auburn; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Alan R. Schulze, granddaughter Natasha Schulze, sister Norma Sieurin, and brother-in-law Donald Sieurin. Born in Worcester, MA, he was the son of Albert and Myrtle (Pitts) Schulze.

Mr. Schulze graduated from Shrewsbury High School and attended Worcester Junior College and Boston University. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving as a Supply Sergeant in Korea. He worked as a foreman for many years at the former Commonwealth Press, in Worcester for 40 years, retiring in 1989. He then started Valley Tile and Marble Co. of Sutton with his son David. He was also employed by Honeywell Corp. for several years before retiring a second time.

Robert was a member of the Worcester County Club of Printing House Craftsmen, the Oliver Ashton Post 343 American Legion of Northbridge, and the Matthew John Whitehall Lodge AF and AM in Shrewsbury. He was a 32 Degree Mason and belonged to the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, a higher-level branch of Freemasonry. He served as Chairman of the Board of Directors at the Sturbridge Cooperative Community and volunteered at Overlook Masonic Home in Charlton. Bob and Mae traveled to many different countries with friends and relatives and spent numerous winters in Florida.

Following cremation, his Memorial Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at 11 am in St. Patrick's Church, 1 Cross St., Whitinsville. Burial in Mountainview Cemetery in Shrewsbury will be held at a later date. There are no calling hours.
