Robert W "Bob" Searles

Robert (Bob) W Searles, 83, of Windgap, PA, passed away Thursday, December 18th, with his two daughters by his side.

Robert was born in Easton, PA, on May 5, 1942, a son of the late Howard and Violet (Deitz) Searles. He was a widower of the late Margaret Searles, who passed away in 2018. They had been married 55 years at the time of her passing.

Robert was a very proud employee of Shoprite for over 30 years and made many friends while employed there. Some of Bob's favorite hobbies included racing, bowling, golfing, going to the shooting range, and "tinkering" with lawn mowers, but his favorite hobby was talking with people.

Robert is survived by a son James Wright and wife, Patricia of Quakertown PA, two daughters, Kelli Ziobro and husband Nick of Bethlehem PA, Karen Smith and husband Doug of Asbury NJ, a sister Marsha George, 11 grandkids, 12 great grandkids and his companion Helen Jaskulski. Robert was preceded in death by two sisters, Sharon Reed and Deanna DeRemer, and a brother Bruce Searles.

In honor of his wishes there will be no services because he always said, and I quote "If they couldn't come and see me while I was alive, they certainly don't need to see me when I'm dead"
