Robert Sharp Obituary
Robert (Bob) Eugene Sharp was born December 13, 1934. He was a lifelong resident of Indianapolis and Greenwood, Indiana and attended Southport High School. Bob was employed for 40 years at Bryant Heating and Cooling/United Technologies.
He loved classic cars, bowling, puzzles, coin collecting and playing Euchre. Most of all he loved his big beautiful family. Bob exemplified hard work, loyalty and a never ending desire to help others.
He is survived by his daughter Peggy and son-in-law Mark Carson, two step daughters Debra Fields and June Zimmerman. He was blessed with six grandchildren. Zach Carson, Casey (Tyler) Ferguson, David Carr (Brenda McClarnon) Misty (Jake) Carl, Sandra Baker (Ed Sherlock) and Dawn (Tony) Strickland, six great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother David (Charlene) Sharp and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his lovely wife of 62 years, Joyce Marie Foley Sharp, parents Oscar and Bertha Sharp, six sisters and two brothers,
There will be a private graveside service for immediate family. A Celebration of Life for family and friends will be held on Saturday, July 26th from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m.at RFD Event Center, 55 West Madison Street, Franklin, IN
