Robert Lyman "Bob" Sharp, 88, of Elk City, Oklahoma was born on April 30, 1937, in Elk City, Oklahoma to Walter Everet "Buster" and Ethel Mae (Hunter) Sharp. Bob looked upon the face of his Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 27, 2025, at his residence in Elk City, Oklahoma surrounded by his loving family.

Bob married the love of his life, Charlene Ann Blackmon on August 30, 1985, at Elk City, Oklahoma. Together they spent many wonderful years of marriage together and raised five children, David, Elizabeth, Melissa, Benjamin and Amy.

Bob was the owner and operator of White Western Auto in Elk City, Oklahoma. He attended Texas Tech University, Lubbock, Texas where he obtained a Business Degree and proudly joined the ROTC during college. He also served his country in the Marine Reserves for eight years. Bob was a financial adviser at Edward Jones and retired from Morgan Stanley.

He enjoyed snow skiing and going on family cruises. He was an avid domino player and liked playing shanghi rummy and watching the history channel. Bob excelled at smoking ribs and grilling at family outings.

Bob was a member of Kiwanias, the Masonic Lodge, and Shriner's where he received his fifty-year pin. He had a deep personal relationship with God and was a member of the Elk City United Methodist Church, where he loved teaching Sunday School, singing in the choir, and was a stanch supporter of Men for Ministry. Bob treasured spending time with his family and friends, he will be deeply missed and greatly remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 1, 2025, at Elk City United Methodist Church, Elk City, Oklahoma. Rev. Scott Rodgers will officiate. Interment will be at Fairlawn Cemetery, Elk City, Oklahoma. Services have been entrusted to the care of Richard and Tammy Dugger and the staff of Martin-Dugger Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Elk City, Oklahoma.

Cherishing his memory is his loving wife, Charlene Sharp of Elk City, Oklahoma; two sons, David Bradley Dominiak of Elk City, Oklahoma, Benjamin Robert Sharp of Austin, Texas; three daughters, Elizabeth Ann Vranas of Henrico, Virginia, Melissa Ann Furth of Frisco, Texas, Amy Nichole Smith of Cross Roads, Texas; eleven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one brother Jerry Sharp of Georgetown, Texas; one sister, Kay Payan of Monterey, California; and many other relatives and friends.

Bob is preceded in death by his son, Robert "Rob" James Hollrah; and his parents, Walter Everet "Buster" and Ethel Mae Sharp.
