Robert "Bob" Shell Jr.

The memorial service for Robert Shell, 38, of Apache Junction, AZ and formerly of Aberdeen, will be 12:00 pm, Saturday, April 14, 2012 at the Family Worship Center, 435 N Highway 281, Aberdeen. Pastor Robert Lockhart officiating. Inurnment will be in the Frederick Cemetery. Bob died March 6, 2012 in Apache Junction. A time of remembrance will be from 1-5 pm, Friday, April 13 at Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home, 1111 S. Main St., Aberdeen. In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials Robert "Bob" Shell, Jr. was born on June 27, 1973 at Dover, DE to Robert & Debra (Jarman) Shell, Sr. This is the area where he grew up and attended school. He worked at a café in Delaware and later moved to North Carolina. On January 26, 2001 he married Darlene Napton at Jefferson, NC. In 2001 they moved to Aberdeen where he worked at Culvers and Dakota Unlimited. In August, 2011, Bob moved to Apache Junction, AZ. Robert especially loved his children, Joseph & Nina. He enjoyed coaching soccer umpiring baseball and wrestling. As a result of his health failing he met many friends while going through dialysis. Every community Bob graced with his outgoing charisma has been truly blessed. Bob enjoyed life to the fullest extent. Towards the end of his life he came to terms with his health procedures to maintain his life. Grateful for having shared Bob's life are his daughter, Allena, Darlene Napton, Parents, Robert & Mary Shell, Sr, Kimberly Odish, Donald Vanden, Linda Randolph and families; extended family, Darrel and Marjo Napton, Marilynn Big Eagle and Larry Wermer, Mike Rouse, Paul Rouse, Travis Napton, Daniel Napton, Leah Rouse, Claressa Big Eagle, Joni Napton and families. Preceding him in death are his mother, Debra Jarman, his son, Joseph Shell brother, Rickey and his daughter Angel.
