Robert Lee "Robby" Shipe Jr.

With heavy hearts, we share that Robert "Robby" Shipe passed away on Saturday, November 8th, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 62 years old and left this world surrounded by his loved ones, his loyal "puppers," and a breathtaking sunset.

Robby was born in Winchester, Virginia, on January 14, 1963. He will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Eileen, and their three beloved dogs-Zoey, Jäger, and Boomer. He is also survived by his daughter, Megan Cardenas, her husband Cody, and their daughter Maci, as well as his stepsons, Connor and Kyle Chilson. He is also survived by his mother, Ola Mae, brother, Mark and sister, Cathy.

Those who were fortunate enough to know Robby will remember his laughter, his kindness, and his ability to make every moment brighter. He had a special gift for making people feel welcome and loved. Whether sharing a story, helping a friend, or simply enjoying time with his family and dogs, Robby lived life to its fullest.

He took immense pride in working alongside his wife, Eileen, at their Irish store, where customers often became friends. Robby's charm and humor were a big part of what made the shop feel like home.

The Shipe family kindly asks for privacy and prayers as they mourn his passing. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in Robby's memory. For those who wish, you are invited to "lay flowers" outside of the store-a cherished family tradition.
