Robert William (Boo) Shuey was born on August 29, 1979 in State College to parents Sharon Fleisher Shuey of Renovo and Harold Shuey of Centre Hall, who survive.

He attended Bucktail High school where he enjoyed playing football and excelled on the field. Robert was a lifelong fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and loved watching their games with his sons. Robert was an animal lover and loved spending time with his dog Brutus. He was friendly to all and had many talents. He loved food and spending time with friends and family when he could. Robert was a fighter and he fought hard until the end.

Robert is survived by his life partner Ida Keller of State College; three sons, Hayden and Ethan, both of State College; and Trevor of Avis; a daughter, Mariah Shuey of Renovo; three grandchildren and multiple nieces and nephews. He is also survived by a sister, Tiffany Snare of Centre Hall. He was preceded in death by two brothers Clayton and Shawn Strouse both of Renovo along with a son, Shawn Robert Shuey.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Centre County Paws, 1401 Trout Road, State College, PA 16801.

A time of gathering will take place on December 15, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at Gedon Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, 121 W. Main St., Lock Haven, PA 17745.
