Robert Simmons Obituary
Robert "Bob" Howard Simmons, 87, passed away on Monday, September 8, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sherman Kenneth Simmons and Blanch Ora Hickman Simmons; brothers, Kenneth and Charlie Simmons; and grandson, Ryan Simmons.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 59 years, Locie Ogrete Via Simmons; son, Keith Simmons; grandson, Keaton and Sherri Simmons; great-grandson, Korben Simmons; sister, Linda Johnsey; sisters-in-law, Shirley Simmons and Sandra Via; and niece, Susan Patton.
The family will receive friends from 1-2pm with funeral services at 2pm on Saturday, September 13, 2025 in the Eagle Rock Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with officiating Mr. Chris Fischer. Interment will follow in Eagle Rock Baptist Church Cemetery.
