Robert Eugene Skeele

When I arrived at Marlboro College in the Fall of 1971 my first academic experience was a seminar with Bob. I subsequently went on to spend a full semester studying the Old Testament with him. That semester formed a base which I have returned to again and again over the ensuing 5+ decades as I have pursued a life-long interest in utopian communities. Bob was one of those teachers whose teaching follows you for a lifetime. I'm grateful./
