I am sorry to hear about Bob. We were friends from 3rd grade to graduation, especially in Grade School at St. Marys. It is funny that we both became Presbyterians. I have served as pastor in the Presbyterian Church for 40 years and in the Evangelical Presbyterian Church.

Sally and Family,
I went to Saint Mary of the Mount High School with Bob. I remember being one of the classmates who practiced French, rode in his parents' convertible, and sampled some of the fine Italian cuisine with him! They are wonderful memories!
Unfortunately, I lost touch with him a while after high school, and was very saddened to hear of his passing. Clearly he was a blessing to everyone whom he met, and I'm glad to know that I'll be able to hear more about his blessed life after the Lord calls me home. I look forward to that!
For now, even though you don't know me, I ask the Lord Jesus to continue to bless and keep all of you, and to give you the comfort and strength needed to pass through this difficult time.
Blessings,
Frank Amaditz

Sally, it breaks my heart to hear of the passing of your loving husband and my friend Bob. My apologies for not making it to pay my respects. I was recently let go from Mellon and just found out today. I loved the old times when a group of us would get together for fish Friday's and Chinese Thursday's. So many funny stories and memories. These memories will keep Bob with us forever. I'll be sure to keep you and Bob in my prayers.

Sally and Family, We are so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. Ed's first words were, he was a good man. I'm so glad we had a chance to spend time with you here and in Pittsburgh. The bro-mance began here and continued through our exploration of the greater Pittsburgh area. We both felt like we'd known Bob for years. I'm not sure which was the straight man, Bob or Ed but they sure kept us laughing a lot with quick quips and come-backs. We were crazy about him and will miss him greatly. Love, Janet & Ed

Sally, I am so sorry for you loss. I really enjoyed getting to know you and Bob as I did the landscaping work around your home. Their are some customers that I would refer to as friends, and you and Bob would fit that category. Again, my deepest condolences.

What a privilege it was to know Bob. After reading his obituary, I feel like I know him even more. He was a very kind man. His love for the Lord certainly showed up in the many ways he served at Church, even when he wasn't feeling 100%, and even moreso by the love that he showed to his wife and family (and by the condolence messages his friends and co-workers as well). What a beautiful legacy he has left to all who knew him and to all who know him now after reading this beautiful obituary. May God warm all the hurting hearts with His love and by the people he sends your way. Thank you for sharing more of this humble man's life with us.

Sally & the entire family,
I am sorry to hear of the passing of Bob after his fight with cancer. My condolences and prayers are with him and the family.
When i lived in PA i enjoyed going out to dinner with Bob & Sally occasionally. Really enjoyed the company. We also shared a love of travel, although most of my travel was domestic and Bob and Sally traveled internationally as well. Bob also helped me pour and finish the concrete floor under my deck of my house. He was quite the handyman. Bob was such a good man. He will be missed by me and i am sure by many.

I can't begin to express my sadness to learn of Bob's passing. He will always be one of my favorite people to be around. I don't believe I ever heard him utter an unkind word. My condolences to Sally and the rest of the family. The world was a better place with Bob in it. He will be missed.

Sally and family; my heartfelt condolences to you on the passing of Bob. He is one of the best men I have ever had the privilege to work with and to know. He always displayed such a calm spirit, confident, quiet, hardworking, reliable and trustworthy. It was a pleasure having him in our IT organization at Mellon. No matter what the project or problem we faced I always knew I could count on Bob to be at his best and help us get to a solution or implementation that served Mellon and our clients the best. I am so deeply sorry I did not get a chance to say good bye. Of all my 38 years at Mellon, it was the people like Bob I missed most and hated to leave. I will always be grateful for the time that we spent together helping to guide Mellon's mainframe direction and support. I didn't realize how strong his faith in Jesus Christ was until I read the obit., but that gave me the understanding to know what made him such a grand person. My prayers are with you Sally and the family he leaves behind, we have lost an outstanding person. May God Bless you all, I look forward to seeing him again in Heaven. Don Greb.
