You learn a lot about a person on a golf course. Having played a lifetime, I know that to be true. And that is the wonderful truth about Bob. We played many rounds together at Cacapon and our couples outings over 30+ years, and Bob was always the same.....always competitive, courteous, under control, fun, self-effacing, friendly, a true gentleman.....everything you´d ever want. Bob loved the game. Kind of guy you would put your arm around after a round, when it was time to shake hands......the friendship and comradery being much more important than the score. I will miss you Bob, but always smile when I remember that hearty warm chuckle you were so ready to share.
