Robert Larry Straight

I will fondly remember working and collaborating with Bob Straight. His warmth, laughter, optimism and deep knowledge of art made him a welcoming force. He was one of the first faculty to reach out to me when I started working at UD, and his kindness left a lasting impact. My deepest condolences.

I thoroughly enjoyed working with Bob for many years. He was so full of grace, had a wonderful smile, and always a kind word that would lift you up. What an endearing spirit! One of a kind. My warmest and heartfelt condolences go out to his family during this difficult time. ~ Robyn

I am very sorry to hear this news and express sincere condolences to the family. We are privileged to have two works of Robert in our home and marvel at them regularly. In addition, I remember well introducing my then 4 year old grandson, who was an early admirer of his work, to Robert. Robert brought his family, including grandchildren, to meet Asa. He was immensely kind and caring. May memories of him be a blessing for you all.
