Bob my friend, it was an honor to know you. Your knowledge of iris was extraordinary. You were and probably be the only emeritus judge I have ever known. You eagerly shared your knowledge of Iris with anyone with a mustard seed of interest. Your accomplishments in the world in general are noteworthy. Teacher/Scholar/ Iris Judge/ Military service/ Author and friend. I am thankful that your were able to autograph your book "Iris Red , Iris Dead for me and that we had our field trip and lunch at a nursery just before you left us. I will always cherish that memory. Prayers for your family. May you rest in peace and with no more pain.
