Robert "Bob" Allen Tasior
It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of our beloved Husband, Father and Grandfather, Robert Allen Tasior (Bob). On the 30th of March, 2025 at 70 years of age.
Born to the late Leon B Tasior and Blanche (Wachowicz) Tasior on July 15th, 1954 in Saginaw, MI. He graduated from Saginaw High School in 1972 and immediately hired into Saginaw Sterring Gear/Delphi/General Motors retiring as a Major Press Operator/Die Setter after 32 years of dedicated service. He married the love of his life, Devon Joy Sawatzki on October 16th, 1976. They raised their two Son's in Bridgeport, MI, Aaron Robert married Jerrilynn Hanes of Bridgeport, and they had 2 daughters, Cassie Rae (Pavel Cajan) and Alyssa Lynn. Bryan Nolan married Andrea Block of Frankenmuth. He will be missed terribly by them all. As well as by his Siblings and their families, Susan Troyer(deceased), Sally Zamora, William Tasior(deceased), Sharon Burnson, Karen(deceased). Several Nieces and Nephews.
Bob was very involved in his Community and in Volunteerism. His Clubs, Hobbies and Commissions consisted of: Former President of MI Chapter Valkyrie Riders Cruisers Club, Former President Oscoda Lions Club, Oscoda Twp Trustee, Chairman Oscoda Planning Commission, Michigan Association of Planners, Chairman Iosco Planning Commission, Chairman Iosco Housing Commission, Need our Water Advocacy Group.
A Celebration of Life will be held at New Hope Church, 686 Aulerich Rd., East Tawas, MI. 48730 on April 11th. Visitation to begin at 10:00 am, Service at 11:00 am, with a Social Gathering at the Edelweiss Tavern, 107 S. State St. Oscoda, MI. 48750 after the Service. Casual dress is what Bob was all about.
