Thank you Spud for showing me South Dakota style hunting and fishing! I was fortunate enough to come out my first year and limit out with 7 guys in 15 minutes. What a memory seeing you running down the road yelling "stop shooting". 20 years later I was again fortunate enough to catch a limit of walleyes with you at Cottonwood last fall. Hearing you yell "don´t horse `em" and seeing you run after a pole the shell popped off of at 83 years old was priceless. You were always just as excited for the other guy as yourself shooting or catching the next one. The trip out to the hills and Rushmore with my wife and kids wouldn´t have been near the thrill if we didn´t stop and see the most famous landmark in South Dakota, you Spud. Thanks for giving us the lowdown on the sights to see there. There are so many memories in between my first year and last fall in South Dakota with you Spud and I just want to say our world was much brighter with you in it. I am truly grateful to have known you. I love you Spud. May perpetual light shine upon you Spud and Jesus´ light shine upon the path for you to find paradise in his kingdom. Condolences to Daryl, Shane, and Amy.
