CELEBRATION OF LIFE FOR ROBERT HOLLAND THOMAS SUNRISE MAY 8, 1944 SUNSET SEPTEMBER 7, 2025 ROBERT HOLLAND THOMAS was born in Harlem, New York on May 8,1944. He passed on from this life September 7, 2025. He was predeceased by Dorothy Thomas, his mother; Nicole Barlow, his daughter, and Barbara Allen, his sister. As a young man, he moved to Brooklyn, New York and was raised by his Aunt May. He was a graduate of Wingate, High School in Brooklyn, New York. He worked as a truck driver in a paper factory and was a janitor. Robert was well loved by all his friends and family. He was known to enjoy a good pinochle or bridge game. He was an avid lover of sports, especially his Dodgers. In February, 2020, due to medical issues, Robert moved to Jacksonville, Florida and resided with his son, Andre S. Barlow Sr. and his wife, Riena. They made Robert feel at home and comfortable until his passing. He is survived by Andre S. Barlow Sr., his son, Riena M. Barlow, daughter in law, Crystal Barlow, his daughter, Kayce Hill, his daughter. His grandchildren, Andre S. Barlow II, Eye-eisha Barlow, Eboney Faison, Damon Barlow, Travis Hunter, Octavia Faison, Nikia Barlow, Tomias Scott, Jameir Hill, Jamie Hill, and 4 great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
