Robert Tingle Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Crowder Funeral Home - League City on Feb. 13, 2026.
Robert (Bob) Eugene Tingle, of League City, Texas, passed away Saturday, February 7, 2026, at the age of 77.

Bob was born on May 28, 1948, in Lubbock, Texas, to Paul and Joyce Tingle. He grew up with a love for the outdoors that stayed with him throughout his life. Bob found great joy in nature - whether hunting, watching birds, feeding squirrels, or simply sitting outside and appreciating the quiet beauty around him. In his younger years, he also loved riding his Harley and embracing the freedom of the open road.

Bob was happiest when surrounded by family and friends. He treasured time spent visiting with loved ones and especially cherished moments with his grandchildren, who brought him immense pride and joy. Known for his gentle spirit and big heart, Bob had a special way of making both people and animals feel welcome and cared for.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Joyce Tingle, and his sister, Terry Swirczynski.

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Janice Tingle; his brother, Skeet Tingle; his sister, Paula Leck; his sons, Justin and Devin Tingle, Michael and Patrick Morris; and his daughter, Michelle Holland. He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren: Braeden and Addison Holland; Mason and Hazel Tingle; Holly and Hannah Morris; and Wyatt and Ben Morris. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A celebration of Bob's life will be held on Saturday, March 7, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 5819 W Pleasant Ridge Rd, Arlington, TX 76016.

Bob will be remembered for his devotion to family, his love of the outdoors and the simple, meaningful joys he found in everyday life. His presence will be deeply missed, but the memories he created will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
