Boxer Clarke

Bobby was a few years older than me and because of this I knew him mostly through my two older brothers AJ & Jimmy. I think he was Jimmy´s oldest and dearest friend. We all camped together in Maine going back at least 40 years. I think they were the "original 6" and the circle expanded each year with more and more families joining in, including me, my wife and our kids. Bobby was the ringleader for our group that expanded to about 40 people through the years. I saw first hand how he and Pat raised and loved their amazing children. I can honestly say that I never saw him mad. He was a man of great grace and a quiet steadfast humility. My kids and I used to call him the "tarp master", because no matter what the weather was Bobby would help everyone get tarps set up to stay dry. It wasn´t any great gesture, just Bobby being himself! He will be missed by all the Clarke clan and all who had the privilege of knowing him. RJ & Rach my thoughts and prayers are with you both.
