Robert J Torres was born on May 5, 1962, in Alamogordo, NM and entered his eternal rest on April 3, 2025, at Raymond G Murphy VA Hospice Facility in Albuquerque, NM surrounded by his loving family and friends. Robert graduated from Alamogordo Sr High School in 1980, joined the Air Force from 1983 to 1988 as an aviation technician, then went on to serve in the US Forest Service until he retired in May 2024 as an aviation inspector. He was an avid sports enthusiast with extensive knowledge in all. He loved his dogs Navi and Blondie, who he referred to as his “puppies.”
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Connie Gurule Torres, James Torres, and his brother, Andrew Torres. He is survived by his sister, Mary Martinez; his brothers, Michael Torres and Martin Torres; and several nieces and nephews.
