Robert Lee Trichel, affectionately known by his nicknames "Bo" and "Bimbo," passed away at his residence in the Trichel Community, Louisiana on March 24, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on December 24, 1954, in Natchitoches, Louisiana.
Robert devoted over 44 years of his life to a successful career as an electrician with Exxon/Mobil, where he was admired for his hard work and dedication. Robert loved the outdoors, immersing himself in hunting and fishing. He was an avid animal lover, caring for all his pets with unwavering affection. Additionally, he found great joy in fellowship with his church family at Grace New Testament Baptist Church, where he built lasting connections.
He leaves behind a loving family, including his wife of 44 years, Judy Gail Montgomery Trichel; his sister, Judy Trichel Carter; and cherished nieces and nephew, Dewayne Monroe, Amanda Rimler, and Victoria Midkiff, along with numerous great nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, David Wayne Montgomery.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents, John and Ellen Buckley Trichel; his sister, Mildred Pleasant; and his nephew, Christopher Monroe, along with a niece, Melissa Richard Hardwick.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Robert's life during the visitation and funeral services held at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home, located at 848 Keyser Ave, Natchitoches, LA 71457. The visitation will take place on March 29, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by the funeral service at 2:00 PM. Burial at Clear Lake Cemetery near Goldonna, LA will follow the funeral service.
