My deepest sympathy to the Tyszkiewicz family.
My heart sank when I heard the news about Rob. He was always a great work colleague but more than that he was a good friend. He helped us acclimate to Kentucky when we were relocated. From offering great recommendations for restaurants, fish fries, doctors and dentists or getting you out of a jam especially when your garage door fell off the track more than once and you couldn't open your garage to go to work!
I will always remember the moments of staring at our instruments and pondering over weird error codes or coming up with wacky methodologies to overcome complex laboratory experiments.
He was an outstanding husband to Sara and a caring father. Rob would often mention how proud he was of the achievements of Julia and Greg. You could really tell how much joy they brought to him and you knew that they meant the world to him.
I will also always remember the donuts he would make when he ran the Knights of Columbus booth at the carnival. They were them most amazing cinnamon sugared donuts you could ever eat! You could tell that he really enjoyed being active to help out a great cause.
Rob made an impact on our life even though we only knew him for a short couple of years while living and working in Kentucky. He did his best to make sure that I felt welcome and included as part of the team at work.
I will miss most cracking jokes with him while poking a little fun at him and waiting for his witty come-backs back at me.
Rob's life was cut way too short. God must have an urgent purpose and mission for him that we will never understand to take him away from us.
Rob made an impact on all our lives and he will be missed greatly by all.
Our deepest sympathies to the Tyszkiewicz family.
