Bob was the truest friend I ever had. His gentleness combined with his compassion and strength of character made him exceptional. My heart is with Donna, his children and grandkids though I believe, knowing him, he left them with many wonderful memories that may help ease them with the painful loss. I still miss him almost every day even though I usually only got to see him once a year. He was that kind of person. Bill Cavanagh

I didn´t know Bob for very long but every time I saw him he was kind , and funny and very sweet. He will be so missed by his beautiful wife Donna and his dear friends which I would like to be considered one of them!

Bob Wagner and I were classmates, teammates and best friends for more than sixty years. He was someone to admire and enjoy throughout all our years. He was always at the top of my list for the best man I knew. He was kind, always, strong, generous and fun. I am heartfully hurt by his loss but overjoyed with my memories of him. I wish peace and the same joy to Donna and the rest of his family.

I met Donna when she came to work at Foxmoor with me. The first company Xmas party, she brought Bob as her guest. They were engaged at the time. He sat at the table like a pile of rocks, and my late husband, Bob Hurd, and I thought he was a stick in the mud sour puss. In a very short time we became friends, then close friends, then best friends, and we remained best friends for over 50 years. His loss is so damn painful. Bob was a loyal, caring, giving , loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He will be missed by so many. His best friend, Bob Hurd, passed in 2018. His elder brother, Ned Wagner, died earlier this year. I am convinced, the two Bobs and Ned are in heaven raising holy hell!

A real measure of a man´s character, in my opinion, is the adoration and respect of his wife and children. Mr Wagner certainly was adored by his wife, kids, and grandchildren among many others. He also helped raise one of the most kind hearted women I´ve ever known. Sending love from Idaho

My heart is broken upon hearing the news of Bob's passing (or as I called him, "Daddy Wags") I remember basically living at your house during high school, eating Marcello's with you, Steph and Donna on Friday nights, arm wrestling at the kitchen table, watching tv with you in the morning if I was up before Steph, even going to work with you sometimes at Wild Birds. I can still hear your voice saying "how ya doin' there, kiddo?" or "how's daughter #2 today?" During such an unsteady time in my life, you were the epitome of what a dad should be. You have no idea how much your kindness, support and love meant to me then and how much of a positive impact that has had on me as an adult. I love you and will miss you a great deal.

Steph, Eric and Donna...I am so incredibly sorry for your loss. Please know you are in the minds and hearts of both myself and my family.
