Robert Dean Watson

Robert (Bob) Dean Watson, age 87, of
Medford, Oregon, passed away peacefully at his home on October 18, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born on February 12, 1938, in Malta, Montana.
Bob was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose life was centered around family, hard work, and faith. He married the love of his life, Evelyn, and together they shared 65 wonderful years of marriage.
Bob worked as a Journeyman Lineman for Pacific Power & Light for 30 years, where he was known for his reliability, skill, and strong work ethic. His colleagues respected him for his steady nature and his commitment to getting the job done right.
He had a deep appreciation for the simple joys of life. Bob always looked forward to planting a large garden each year - tending it with care and sharing the bounty with family and friends. His love for the outdoors, dedication to his faith, and his devotion to his family defined the way he lived.
He is survived by his loving wife, Evelyn Watson, and their children:
• Jim and Brenda Watson
• John and Laurie Watson
• Bill and Devonne Watson
• Darla and Rory Wold
• Sandy and Bob Lee
Bob was also blessed with 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him immense joy and pride throughout his life.
He will be remembered for his steady spirit, gentle humor, dedicated faith, loveable teasing, infectious laugh, and the love and wisdom he shared with everyone who knew him. His legacy lives on through the generations of family he nurtured and inspired.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 3, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 517 W. 10th Street,
Medford, Oregon. A private family internment will be held at Siskiyou Memorial Park in Medford at a later date.
Bob will be deeply missed and forever loved by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
