Robert Wheeler

Uncle Robert was the youngest brother of my father, John T. Wheeler (JT) and last survivor of his five siblings. He had a youthful and gregarious personality; generous with his time and a friend to all those who knew him.
Uncle Robert was athletic and was proud of his many low scores on his course in Tuscaloosa. But his greatest joy was his beloved wife Edith. For me,growing up in the North, Robert embodied the spirit of a true Southern gentleman, as his appearance and voice reminded me of my father. We toast his life and will miss him.
