Robert James White

Rob and I shared a lot during our high school years but I will always remember that he and I played the two sousaphones in our CV High School band. I called him earlier this year and although he spoke of his illness he was optimistic and he and I enjoyed chatting for a while. I´ll miss him.

Chief, you taught us so many things over the years. You will be greatly missed by many. Thanks for all the great memories at the Sheriff´s Office! Your steadfast dedication to the law enforcement community will be carried on by all. To your family, our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Just an extraordinary man.

Peg, Henry just heard about Rob's passing at church today. Our prayers are with you and the family. We so enjoyed the times spent with ya'll and have such high respect for Rob. We were most appreciative that David got to know Rob as his faith partner.

So sorry to hear. Bob and Peg visited my wife and I in Eldon, MO. and later we visited them in Oklahoma.

Bob was a true professional, tough as nails, but compassionate as well.
On the evening of 2/28/93 he matter of factly asked me to pluck some buckshot out of his body. He didn´t want to make a big deal about it.
I´m forever thankful to consider him a friend.
We are all better that he was part of our lives.
