Robert L. White

Robert Lawrence White, of Taunton, MA, age 95, passed away at Morton Hospital on February 20, 2026. Born in Stoughton MA on December 3, 1930. He was the husband of the late Jean Elizabeth White (Eagles). Robert was raised in Stoughton and was employed at Draper Brothers Co. textile mill in Canton for forty years as a mechanic and foreman. He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing golf, bowling, fishing, canoeing, cribbage, collecting coins, and traveling.

Robert is survived by his children: Michael L . White and his wife Lorraine White (Peters), Diane J. White; and the late Wanda M. Tucker (White).
Robert is the brother of nine siblings, June Audlee, Stoughton MA, William White, ME and the late Charles White, Norton MA, James White, NH, John White, FL, Walter White, RI, Pearl Martins, Brockton MA, Evelyn Fortier, Foxboro MA, and Priscilla Cataldo, Stoughton, MA; seven grandchildren, Holly Howard and her husband Troy, Lynn White, Amanda White, Shelby White, Breanna Leonard, Crystal Tucker, and Samantha Tucker and five great granddaughters, two great great grandsons, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Burial will be held in the future, services will be private.
