Robert Wilburn Obituary
Bob retired from Chrysler after 30 years of service. He was known for his wonderful sense of humor and his genuine desire to help others. He found joy in giving back to his community through volunteer work, and his kindness touched many lives. A devoted SU fan and lover of classic cars, Bob brought enthusiasm and laughter wherever he went.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 55 years, Barbara. Bob is survived by his son, Robert Wilburn Jr.; two daughters, Stacey (Todd) Jantsch and Mary Wilburn; five grandchildren, Kyle, Christian, Abagail, Victoria, and Cooper; one great-grandson; and his sister, Carol Robinson.
Visitation will be held Friday, November 7, 2025, from 10am to 12pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St, N. Syracuse. A service will follow at 12 pm with burial immediately following at Onondaga Valley Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Francis House.

I´m sorry to hear of Bob´s passing. I met Bob while cleaning his teeth at Dr Rich´s office. We became instant friends. He was a man of integrity, kind, caring with a sense of humor who loved his family. My condolences to his family, , ! Janie

Bob was a one-of-a-kind person, gentle but stern. I learned a lot from Bob at NPG. He was always showing me how to do things the right way. I worked with Bob on the pinion line. I will miss him, because I called him a friend. All my condolences go out to the family-the loss of a great person.
