Robert E. "Bob" Willams

Robert E. Williams, Bob to everyone. He was the middle son brother to Fred and Tom. After deciding that becoming a Franciscan monk was not his path to follow he took a,job at New York Life where he met and fell in love with his Terry. Bob became a member of the FDNY . He retired shortly after becoming a batalion chief. They raised 4 children Barbara, Roberta, Robert, and Michael. They enjoyed their 6 grandkids, William, Anna, Sabrina, Olivia, Emma and Alicia. Bob has missed his Terry for a while now. With sadness and joy we announce that he has left us to be with her. We remember his devotion to God and to his first calling. We will laugh when we remember one night at the fire house stories. Bob was a runner. He was a talented Mr I can fix anything person. Cooking not a skill but grilling with his home made sauce excellent. In his last few years he did learn to cook, but taking after his mother he took up baking. His friends at St Josephs church loved his baking and would often make requests. Bob loved to build and fly model air planes. We would be remiss if we forgot to mention his love of bowling, and his love of hockey as first a Rangers fan and then a true blue and orange die hard Islanders fan.

Bob left an astounding legacy that truly will not be forgotten
