Robert Wayne "Bob" Wimley

ROBERT "BOB" WAYNE WIMLEY, age 66, of Decherd, Tenn., departed this life suddenly on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at his residence following a brief illness. Mr. Wimley was born in Manchester, Tenn to the late George David Wimley and Annie Beatrice Certin Wimley. Mr. Wimley was a self-employed logger for approximately 30 years before becoming disabled. Mr. Wimley's favorite hobby was wood working. He was a self-proclaimed "handyman" and could fix anything. He was the type of person that would do anything anyone would ask him to, he never turned down the opportunity to help people.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Wimley was preceded in death by his sisters; Betty Wimley and Shirley Webb. His brothers; Jim, Eules and Wilburn Wimley. He is survived by his daughter, Andana Pauline Armstrong of Greendale, Indiana, his sisters' Georgia Faye Hereford of Estill Springs, Tenn. and "Pickle" Smith and husband, Tony of Bell Buckle, Tenn., 2 grandchildren; Xavier Grant Armstrong and Zoey Michelle Spry.
The family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00 P.M. Friday evening, July 14, in the Chapel of Grant Funeral Services.
