Robert Wnuk Obituary
Robert C. Wnuk of the Town of Poughkeepsie entered into rest Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at Castle Point VAMC. He was 74.
Son of the late Edward and Jennie Balinski Wnuk, he was born on December 1, 1935 in Detroit, Michigan. He married the love of his life, Judith Anne Schwartz on September 19, 1964 in Detroit; Mrs. Wnuk preceded her husband in death, passing on October 22, 2004.
Robert retired from IBM in East Fishkill, where he was an engineer. He was also a former member of the Knights of Columbus in Wappingers Falls.
Survivors include his son, Robert L. Wnuk of Poughkeepsie; his brother, Richard Wnuk and his wife, Sylvia of Michigan; his sisters, Dolores Westerman of White Lake, MI, and Nancy Perla of Las Vegas, NV; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife, Judith, he was predeceased by his brothers, James and Gerald.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, Clinton Street in Wappingers Falls.
