Robert “Bob” George Woerheide passed away peacefully at home on January 4, 2026, at the age of 81 surrounded by his family and his dog, Reggie.
Bob was born June 4, 1944, in St. Louis, MO to Albert and Dolores Woerheide. He married Carol (nee: Mangan) on April 30, 1982 and enjoyed 43 years of marriage with his beloved wife by his side. Bob worked a majority of his career with the Federal Government and retired after 25 years with the Department of Defense.
Beloved husband to Carol Woerheide; loving father of Laura King, grandfather of Brandee King, stepfather of Melinda (Bart) Alspaugh, Stephanie (Christopher) Mangiapane, grandfather of Jarred Kues and Ashley Kues; brother-in-law to Joan (Wayne) Heffner, Carol Mangan, Alan Thome, and Gina (Mike) Stockman.
He was a friend to many, especially Jerry, Stan and Bill.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Dolores Woerheide, and his in-laws, Betty and Ed Remiger, Judy and Elroy Bomar, Bill Mangan, Mary Alice and Tony Pijut, and Margie Thome.
