Robert H. Woida, known affectionately to friends and family as Ranger Bob or Uncle Bob, returned to his Heavenly Father on July 24, 2025, after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Born on May 9, 1955, in Milwaukee, WI, to the late Henry and Alice Woida.
Bob spent his entire life in the city he loved, surrounded by the community that cherished him. A beacon of light and guidance in the lives of many, Bob walked through life with love and grace, embodying the spirit of generosity and friendship. He was a dear son, a loving brother, a trusted friend, and a cherished uncle.
He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Allen Denk and is survived by his siblings, Judith Denk, Susan (Richard) Horner, Camille (Doug) Wildes, and Jeffery Woida. His memory will be honored by his dear friend and business partner, Ann Epton, and he will be deeply missed by his nieces and nephews, John Denk, Lisa (Don) Roberts, DJ (Sara) Wildes, Natalie (Chris) Balleto, Curtis (Jason) Wildes, and Lindsey Woida, along with their children.
Bob co-founded Professional Accounting Bookkeeping Tax Services, Inc. with Ann B. Epton in 1984. Bob's professional life was marked by the same warmth and kindness that he extended to his personal relationships. Outside of the office, Bob could often be found on the golf course, indulging in his love for the game. His Fridays were sacred, reserved for enjoying fish frys with friends and family, a tradition that he held dear.
Bob's zest for life was also fueled by his favorite Rockstar Energy Drink, which he claimed was the secret to his boundless energy. Those who knew Bob would describe him as loving, friendly, and generous. His door was always open to those in need.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic, Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center, Milwaukee in memory of Bob Woida. We wish to thank the staff at St. Luke's Hospital for their thoughtful attention to Bob during this difficult time.
Services will be Friday, August 8 from 3:00-4:30 at ST. JOHN VIANNEY CATHOLIC PARISH, 1755 N. Calhoun Rd., Brookfield, WI with Mass to follow. Burial will be private.
The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers at this time. The parting words on his voicemail message says it all..."Have a fabulous day now, go play some golf!"
