Robert Wright Obituary
Born Friday, June 21, 1957, in Waukegan, Illinois, he was the son of the late Bennie D. Wright and the late Evelyn Leonowitz Wright. He retired from Wal-Mart in the Maintenance Dept. Bob had a love for cars, fishing, the Minnesota Vikings and Alabama Crimson Tide Football. Most of all he had an enduring love for his family.
Surviving are his wife of 34 years, Connie Mathis Wright; sons, Jeffery Jones (Amy Yoke) of Murray, KY and Bobby Jones (Maria) of Calvert City, KY; daughter, Jennifer Hardin (Lamar) of Murray, KY; brother, Jim Wright of Vernon, AL; sister, Sandra Gomez of PA; grandchildren, Victoria Smith, Alli Burkey (Hayden), Tre Hardin, Wynston Hardin, Aaron Jones, Makenna Jones, Chelsea Ellis, Michelle Fulks, and great grandchildren, Tristin Smith, Alexus Younger, Skyler Smith and Addilynn Smith.
Funeral services will be at the Collier Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday December 6, 2023 at 4:00 pm with Bro. Jeff Brasher officiating.
Visitation will be on Wednesday December 6, 2023 from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Collier Funeral Home and Crematory located at 211 W 5th Street, Benton, KY 42025.
