Robert Wright Obituary
Robert is survived by his four cherished children, Kathern Elizabeth Anastasia Wright, Kaleb Jordan Isaiah Wright, Khristian Paul Isaiah Wright, and Serenity Peyton Wright, who were the light of his life and the heart of everything he did. Robert's love for his children was endless, and his pride in them was unmatched.
He is also survived by his loving sister, Robin Hall (Edward Hall), and his devoted brother, Darwin Wright (Shana Wright). Robert's extended family includes: his nieces and nephews, Jamie Wright, Travis Wright Jr., Timothy Wright (Kaylan Wright), Tristan Brookter, Christopher Nelson, Eric Landry, Kiarra Tastet, and Anthony Marcelin- all of whom he loved dearly.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Leo Wright Sr. and Shirley Mae Wright, and his brother, Travis Wright Sr. Their memories will forever remain a guiding light for those who loved them.
Robert bravely served in the United States Army, where he was awarded numerous commendations including: the Afghanistan Campaign Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and the Humanitarian Service Medal.
Robert will be remembered for his kind heart, infectious laughter, and unwavering dedication to his family and friends. His presence filled every room with warmth, humor, and compassion. Those who knew him will forever carry his spirit in their hearts and his memory in their stories.
Though he may be gone from our sight, his love will live on through the many lives he touched.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Audubon Funeral Home in Slidell. A funeral service will begin in the chapel at noon. Robert will be laid to rest with Military Honors in the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. Memories and condolences may be expressed at www.AudubonFuneralHome.com

Robert was a positive and kind soul who loved the Lord. He always looked at the glass as being "Half full" and not "Half empty". He never missed an opportunity to express gratitude for the little things, yet, strong enough in his convictions to tell you "Not exactly" or "I disagree with you because...." He will always be remembered.
