Robert Wright Sr. Obituary
Robert Lee Wright Sr., age 81, of Richmond, departed this life on December 27, 2025. He is a Past Master of King David Lodge #28 (Prince Hall affiliated). He is preceded in death by his wife, Essie V. Wright, and one grandson, Jermayne O. Wright. He is survived by four daughters, Tillie Wright-Jackson (Jerry), Margaret Wright-Mack, Kim Wright and Keisha Wright; one son, Robert Lee Wright Jr.; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; three sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law; other relatives and friends.
Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, where the family will receive friends on Friday, January 2, 2026, from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2026, 11:00am, at the 21st Street Church of God,1601 N. 21st Street, where remains will lie in state one hour prior to the funeral time. Rev. MyKenley Auguspin, Pastor. Interment: Forest Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church at 10:45am on Saturday.
