Robert Eugene "Bubba" Young

YOUNG- Mr. Robert (Bubba) Young, 73 of Brewton, AL passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at his residence after a brief illness. He was born January 15, 1951, in Greenville, Alabama, he lived in Georgiana, AL until he was six years old and then moved to Brewton, AL. Bubba was a member of the 1969 TR Miller High school graduating class, he served in the United States Army 1972-1974. Bubba retired after working at Georgia Pacific Paper Mill in Brewton for 34 years. His greatest joys in life were God, family and friends, hunting, fishing, and planting and sharing a big garden each year. He was a member of Catawba Springs Baptist Church.

Wife of 49 years- Brenda Davis Young,
(2) sons- Joshua (Rachel) Young of Brewton, Alabama
Kevin (Natalie) Young of Brewton
(4) Grandchildren: Edy Young, Paige Young, Kolton Young, and Silas Young of Brewton,
(2) Sisters Nita (Larry) Mickwee of Columbiana, AL
Nancy (Don) Davis of Daphne, AL.
Preceded in death by: Grandparents- Bartow H. and Mae Fleury Wyatt
Rufus Robert and Mamie Durham Young
Parents- Robert and Jean Wyatt Young
Visitation will be held Thursday afternoon June 6, 2024, from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home Brewton, Alabama.
Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday afternoon June 6, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Edwards officiating. Interment will follow in Catawba Springs Cemetery Brewton, Alabama with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Brewton, Alabama directing.
