Robert Young Obituary
Robert Charles Young, age 70, departed this life on Thursday, December 5, 2024, in his home surrounded by loved ones. He was born July 29, 1954, in McKeesport, PA, and is the son of the late Rocinlus Charles "R.C." and Bertha Johnson Young.
Robert is survived by his loving daughter, Sheena Young of West Mifflin, PA; granddaughter, Sade Young of West Mifflin, PA; siblings Deborah Young of Ferndale, MI; Renee Davis of Southfield, MI; Charles Young of McKeesport, PA; along with many nephews; nieces; cousins; and friends.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by siblings, Dwayne and Yvonne Young, Loretta Butler, Marion Carter, Toni Rosser, Ronald, Donald Young, Phyllis Bryant, Denise Whatley, and Barbara Ann Lawrence.
Family and friends will gather on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at St. Paul AME Church, 1350 Locust St, McKeesport, PA 15132, and again on Thursday, December 12, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. until time of services at 1:00 p.m. Arrangements are being cared for by Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177).
