RACINE - Robert Yuhas, age 87, passed away on Friday, November 21, 2025, at Aurora Medical Center in Mt. Pleasant, Wis.

Bob was born October 15, 1938, in Racine, Wis. to Charles and Elizabeth Yuhas. Following graduation in 1956 from Horlick High School in Racine, Bob honorably served his country for six years in the United States Air Force. He served with the Strategic Air Command during the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Bob married the love of his life, Judy (Woodland), on March 2, 1957. Together they built a family that includes four sons and their families: Robert, Michael, Randy (Cathy), and Jeffrey (Monica); five grandchildren, Clinton (Laura), Joshua, Jacob (Heather), Ben (Cynthia), and Julia; six great grandchildren, Cole, Tanner, Lucas, Watson, Hayden, and Daisy.

Following his military service, Bob was a proud Teamster driving for local freight carriers for 33 years, including Motor Transport, Yellow, and ABF, retiring in 1996. Bob loved the outdoors and shared that love with his family with trips to the Wisconsin north woods to camp and fish, and he and his boys spent many weekends fishing for coho, chinook, and trout on Lake Michigan. After retirement, Bob and Judy moved to the family vacation home on Kentuck Lake in Eagle River, Wis. There they enjoyed all that living on the lake in the woods had to offer: watching the deer, bears, and foxes in the yard; fishing and hunting; feeding the birds, especially the hummingbirds; watching the eagles soar over the lake and listening to the loons. In retirement, Bob had more time to improve his golf game. He was a self-taught guitarist, and he enjoyed playing while looking out over the lake and woods. Bob and Judy moved back to Racine in their later years to be closer to family.

Besides his wife, sons, and their families, Bob is survived by his sister, Catherine (Ronald) Haacker, and brothers, Jerome (Shari) and Stephen, brother-in-law, Lester (Linda) Woodland, and sister-in-law, Josephine Pfeiffer, along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers and sister-in-law, Charles (Betty) and James, and his sister-in-law and brothers-in-law, Joan (Paul) Zierk, and Michael Pfeiffer. A private family service was held. In lieu of flowers, a donation to one's favorite charity in memory of Bob is appreciated.
