Robert Kemper Zander

Robert Kemper Zander was born to Liston and Mary Zander on August 12, 1931 went to join his wife in his Savior's presence on January 8, 2009. Bob grew up in San Antonio, graduated from San Antonio Academy, Jefferson High School, and went to the University of Texas, where he met his wife of nearly forty years, Florence Fooshee. After graduating with a B.B.A. he served his country in the U.S. Army at Fort Sam Houston and overseas. Upon his honorable discharge from the Military, Bob went into business with his father who helped him establish his own company, Zander and Company, which he owned and operated for many years. Later, Bob sold his business and became a stock broker until his retirement in the 1990's. He and Florence enjoyed many years ministering to others in Bible Study Fellowship. Bob was a loving father, whose passing will be mourned by many in the San Antonio community. He is preceded in death by his parents, Liston Emmanuel and Mary Katharine Kemper; wife, Florence Zander; brother William Zander and granddaughter; Kelli Zander. Bob is survived by daughter, Lynn Zander Womble and husband, Joey; sons, Bobby Zander and wife, Karin, Liston Zander and wife, Lynne and Richard Zander, and wife, Janneke; grandchildren, Matthew and wife, Erin, Riley, Andrew, Breanna, Ninon, and Kyra Zander; great grandchildren, Aiden, Zoe, and Brady Zander; and sister Katharine Zander Sheldon.
